Special Thanks
I would like to acknowledge those who helped me with my game by testing, encouragement, and idea-bouncing, among other things. First, I want to thank John Bruneau, who assigned this mobile game project. If it weren’t for this class, I would not have started experimenting with game development in the ways I have this semester. I also want to thank Ojiro Fumoto for creating Downwell, a game which has inspired me throughout the process. I want to thank my playtesters and gameplay-watchers: Shaur Kumar, Sage Cronen-Townsend, Gayatri Tyagi, Jacob Moore, and Cat Almuete. Each of them played (aside from Jacob, who was remote and could not build on his device) and watched me design this game and discussed what they liked or what they would like to see within it. Finally, I want to thank my family and the members of my Intro to Game Programming class. They gave me a drive to work on this game and provided critical insights at the right moments.
